Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) is showcasing its green initiatives and the company's corporate social responsibility programmes at the Dubai International Peace Convention, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, from March 18 to 20 at the Dubai Airport Expo.

As a sponsor of the event that brings together scholars from around the world, Enoc is highlighting the importance of being environmentally responsible and working towards community welfare as powerful peace initiatives.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, Group Chief Executive, Enoc, said:
"Global peace today has a very vast definition and context, and being environmentally aware and contributing to sustainable development is also part of peace initiatives. Enoc is underscoring this crucial aspect at the Dubai International Peace Convention."

He added, "Alongside the green initiatives that we promote in line with the goals of the Dubai Government, we are also highlighting the various corporate social responsibility programmes that we lead at the Convention. One of our annual initiatives includes reaching out to the less privileged youth in the UAE, providing them with a comprehensive training programme, to prepare them for a better future."

The Dubai International Peace Convention brings together people from all walks of life to promote peace and global understanding.

The three-day conference is being held for the first time in the Middle East and aims to make the world a better place to live together by promoting peace. Enoc supports key cultural, sports and educational events in the UAE regularly.
