Social networking sites pose increasing threat to corporate network security

Last month, the Information Security Forum released its list of the top 10 security threats facing companies in the next two years. Criminal attacks took the top spot, followed by infrastructure weaknesses.

To bring attention to current threats and discuss how it can solve these threats, SonicWALL, a leading secure network infrastructure company is holding fast track events for its end-users March 16th in Abu Dhabi and March 17th in Dubai.

SonicWALL's aim is to deliver security solutions that evolve along with organizations and the threats they encounter. The company is therefore committed to hosting such events all over the region on a continuous basis to understand its end-users' stories.

According to Shahnawaz Sheikh, Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East and Africa at SonicWALL, the company has lined up many events for this quarter and next quarter.

SonicWALL's solutions address such threats as network security, email security and secure remote access, as well as backup and recovery. The company gives customers the ability to control, manage and protect the productivity of their global networks and remain one step ahead of threats.

SonicWALL started the initiative of holding end-users fast track events since 2008. The fast track; a half day event held in major cities around the region, aims to establish discussions on new tools, products and updates on solutions.

Shahnawaz revealed that SonicWALL is also looking at delivering fast tracks for new partners across Gulf region and is currently growing its reseller's base in the Levant Area.
