Arab Business Club holds its 1st networking event in Europe at Hotel Kempinski in Munich

The Arab Business Club (ABC) has successfully held its 1st networking event in Europe which was held recently at Hotel Kempinski 4 Jahreszeiten at Munich, the event was attended by more than 330 prominent businessmen and women from all nationalities, countries and sectors, from top corporate management to entrepreneurs.

The Patronage of this 1st Event at Europe was assumed by Dr. Andreas Scheuer, parliamentary State Secretary of Federal Ministry for Transport, Building and Urban Development and was supported by the Consulate of the United Arab Emirates in Munich, represented by Deputy Counsel Mr. Yasser al Shimaeli.

The 1st Arab Business Club networking event outside the Arab World is aimed as a lighthouse to Europe, strengthening business relations between the international and Arab business persons.

Mr. Harald Ehrl, Ambassador of the Arab Business Club for Munich, welcomed the attendees, spoke about the Club's achievements for Europe and introduced Mr. Peter Pick as Ambassador of the Arab Business Club for Frankfurt and Vienna and Mr. Frank Lori as Ambassador of the Arab Business Club for Cologne. Dr. Andreas Scheuer addressed the Audience with a warm welcome, he talked about the good relationship between Germany and the Arab world, he announced his support of the Arab Business Club in the future.

Mr. Mohamed Khalid, Vice President of the Arab Business Club announced the Club's plans for the year 2010. Arab Business Club's immediate plans include the holding of networking events in different parts of the world, starting with the first event here in Munich, as the official launch of the Arab Business Club's activities outside UAE.

Mr. Mohamed Khalid also proudly thanked GAB as one of the first international sponsors for this year: "GAB", who are one of the leading providers of Enterprise IT Solutions and a highly reputable Microsoft Gold Partner for Microsoft Messaging, Networking, Security and Infrastructure Solutions.

Dr. Ekkehard Muenzing, political advisor gave short but very valuable information's about the changes in the DTA between the UAE and Germany.

Mr. Hamdan Mohamed, the Arab Business Club president and Chairman of the Board, talked to the hundreds of attendees via satellite video from Dubai, He stressed the importance of the west world in general and Germany in specific for the Arab Business Club members, Mr. Hamdan says The Club role and strategy is to open and expand the market for the west in the Arab world, opening new doors for its members, as well helping Arab investors find the right partner who is our club members.

Next Events of the Arab Business Club in Europe in 2010 will follow soon; starting from Frankfurt/Main, Cologne and Vienna.

Mr. Harald Ehrl closed by thanking every attendee to be among the first Arab Business Club networkers in Europe and interpreted the high amount of attendees as a sure sign that interest in meeting one another personally is high.
