Enoc Group receives 16 ISO certifications for world-class quality

Enoc Retail Business Stream and other Enoc Group Departments have received 16 ISO certifications across three main categories covering Quality, Environmental best practices and Food Safety.

This highlights the Group's commitment to excellence and to upholding the highest quality standards across its breadth of services.

The three main categories include - the ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System (QMS) certification; the ISO 14001:2004 certification for Environment Management System (EMS) and the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification for Food Safety Management System.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, Enoc Group Chief Executive received the certifications from Basem Obaid, General Manager - Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Middle East & Africa Region at an award ceremony held at the Enoc auditorium.

Khoory said:
"These certifications underscore our commitment to excellence, the passion towards the company, and dedication to elevating Enoc as a thought-leader and industry pioneer. By winning the laurels, Enoc is moving three steps ahead in our brand equity. These certifications will now speak for our competencies and adherence to global best practices."


Part of winning the award included an extensive audit of various businesses which were carried out over the past year. Enoc Retail Business Stream comprising Retail, Pronto, Tasjeel, Eppco Aviation, Eppco Distribution, Eppco Lubricants, Group Procurement & Contracts, Group Human Resources and Enoc Commercial & Distribution LLC, were under the scanner for its day to day functioning. Every aspect of operation was scrutinized and benchmarked against global best practices in quality, environmental management, and food safety management.

Enoc has always taken the lead in environmental awareness campaigns and pioneered products and services that add to energy and water use efficiency. "Since its inception, the group has focused on sustainable and profitable growth, while adhering to global best practices. This in turn positions us as active partners in the quality drive of our nation and our leadership's focus on sustainable development," said Khoory.
