Jumbo Electronics opens specialist digital products store at Dubai Media City

The range of products has been tailored to meet the very specific needs of companies operating at Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City. Jumbo will also extend a number of specialised services to its clients at the Free Zone.

On offer to customers will be a range of digital cameras, GSM phones, PCs, laptops, PDAs, IT peripherals and fax machines from global brand leaders including Sony, IBM, Compaq, Nokia, Casio, Ricoh, Acer, Siemens, Ericsson and Brother.

Specialised services that will be made available include bulk copying, printing, laminating and binding and Jumbo also plans to offer a rental services for mobile phones and laptops in the future.

Mr M R Chhabria, Chairman of the Jumbo Group and Jumbo Electronics Co. Ltd., said: "We have researched our new outlet to ensure that we meet the very specific needs and demands of one of the most sophisticated and knowledgeable electronics client groups in the world.

"As a result the ranges of digital products have been tailored to meet the exacting requirements of the companies now established at Dubai Media City and Dubai Internet City. We have also established a number of onsite facilities to help these companies to operate more efficiently."

The new facility has opened in the main building of Dubai Media City and is open every day from 8am to 7pm with purchases available on instalment through Network International and Citibank. Sony Playstation 2 and associated software will also be on sale at the new outlet.
