UAE and region's top dermatologists gather at Dubai Derma pre courses sessions

The Dubai Derma international accredited scientific course had started yesterday at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre with more than 80 participants from the UAE and the region. The course will continue until Aril 12.
These sessions are an excellent opportunity to gain the continuing medical education through its Four day pre-conference courses that will help to prepare delegates for the Arab-Board of Dermatology Exam, which will be held at the end of May.
Dr. Ibrahim Galadari, Professor of Dermathology at the Emirates University and the chairman of the Dubai Derma 2010 conference said that the four days pre conference sessions aim to help students to prepare for their Arab Board of Dermatology Exam. Doctors and professors lecturing at the courses came from different universities worth mentioning AUB, University of Boston, Michigan University and University of Cairo, additional to specialist consultants from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the UAE University is to grant participants with 32 credit hours.
Dr. Asem Farag from Egypt, Dr. Abdul Ghani Kibbi from Lebanon, Dr. Ibrahim Galadari from The UAE and Dr. Lawrence Field from UAE and other prominent doctors delivered their lectures during the first and second day.
Dr. Farag said that he is excited to participate in Dubai Derma conference for the 6th consecutive year and he was delighted by the increased number of attendees every year.
The Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibitions (Dubai Derma ) is to go underway next Tuesday, April 13th and will last for three days at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, five thousand specialist doctors are expected to attend from all parts of the world.
Abdul Salam AL Madani, President of Index Holding and Executive Chairman of Dubai Derma assured that the Dubai DERMA Conference and Exhibition has marked itself in the region and the Middle East, and is attended by world's Key Dermatologists to benefit from the workshops and the scientific courses held during the conference. He also revealed that the number of exhibitors for this year is more than 250 from 65 countries with a 20% increase in participating companies compared to last year. Al Madani is expecting 5000 participants and trade visitors to Dubai Derma this year.
Al Madani also added that dermatologists, Dermatology resident physicians and medical students will benefit from the workshops; as they will provide an update on the latest advances and practices in Dermatology, Laser treatments, anti - aging, skin and hair care and other dermatological therapies. Moreover, continuing medical educational hours will be also granted as part of attending this enormous event and it is a great venue to share and exchange expertise with Key specialist sectors and Arab Board Members.
Dubai Derma is considered the largest medical and cosmetic gathering in the Middle East, which attracts specialists from all parts of the world to participate and visit Dubai annually.
