Dubai Derma 2010 concludes its sessions

Dubai World Dermatology and laser Conference and Exhibition - Dubai Derma 2010 concludes its sessions after three days of condensed and specialized workshops and lectures that featured main skin diseases suffered by millions of patients worldwide, and the top methods currently used for treatment, while doctors recognized the latest and motivated and modern equipment used for permanent hair removal and wrinkles, as well as getting to know the latest cosmetic and pharmaceutical products displayed by well known companies during the exhibition.

More than 5000 participants, trade visitors and Doctors had visited the Dubai Derma Conference and Exhibition for the past three days. The third day topics revolved around Facial Dermatoses, Practical Guidelines for Biologic therapy in Psoriasis, What is new in Isotretinoin Side Effects and Warming, Hair Transplant, the Management of Acne, fractional Peeling.

Dr. Ibrahim Galadari, Chairman of Dubai Derma conference said that the conference managed this year to reveal some of the complications that were not previously known, in addition to the new treatments and also workshops that displayed latest trends for Botox, Fillers and Laser.

Specialized companies participating at the Dubai Derma 2010 thrived in showing their latest laser machines and skin care products.

Dr. Hassan Galadari, said that the United Arab Emirates and the region has a number of specialist dermatologists and qualified surgeons that are equal to the international expertise. He also stressed that doctors in this region should not underestimate their qualifications and try to learn from the experts.

The Dubai Derma Scientific Committee Declared the following recommendations

• Laser machines and other cosmetics techniques shall be used by professional and licensed doctors only.
• There should be a certain level of supervision on doctors and practitioners and the technology involved in dermatology.
• Encouraging the trend towards the usage of advanced technology in the treatment of skin diseases.
• The scientific Committee encourages and recommends the continuous education especially in dermatology and cosmetics, where as this field evolve and develop quickly.
• Encouraging junior doctors to be present at any educational and scientific forums and specialized comities.

Index Conferences and Exhibitions Organization Est. - member of index holding announced that Dubai will host Dubai Derma next year from the 24th - 26th of April 2011.

Mr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of Dubai Derma Conference and Exhibition, said:
"Dubai Derma this year celebrates another year of extraordinary success, as it was enriched by world's top specialists and doctors who came to Dubai to participate in Dubai derma in particular."


Al Madani also said that Dubai Derma is on the same track of other European Dermatology and laser conferences and exhibitions, due to the unprecedented doctors and participants.

He announced that 90% of the space was booked for next year, so we are expecting a 20% increase in exhibitors in 2011.
