Careertunity.com, S P Jain organise 'Minds' forum in Dubai to address employee engagement challenges

Careertunity.com, a leading online recruitment portal in the Middle East, in collaboration with S P Jain Institute of Management, has organised the first Minds (Manager Interface for Networking and Developing Skills) forum on April 19, 2010, to serve as a groundbreaking platform that will cultivate leading-edge ideas and promote effective HR practices in the business community.

The inaugural Minds forum, organised under the theme "Performance with fulfilment - why we need both", was held at the Dubai International Academic City, seeking to address key challenges in driving employee engagement. A recent survey has revealed that up to 91% of business organisations intend to focus on employee engagement by improving leadership and staff management capabilities.

Stephan Melchior, Managing Director and Consultant of Wilson Learning, Middle East and a 10-year veteran in training professionals from over 20 countries, served as the keynote speaker of the forum, which targeted HR managers and senior professionals. The Minds forum will be held once every two months and will offer a wide array of interactive, educational activities, including workshops, training, seminars, debates and speaker sessions.
