Data Centre Strategies Middle East gathers international momentum

The 2nd Data Centres Middle East will be held 25-26 May in Abu Dhabi, attracting influential IT experts and decision makers in the data centre industry from across the region to gain strategic insight and discuss how their presence can strengthen their foothold in the market for the long term.

The two-day forum with guests and delegates attending from across the region and internationally, will include a special focus on enterprise customers of data centres and their evolving outsourcing needs as emerging private clouds, new technologies and market shift impact the sector. Uniquely, the conference is provided each year with results of new research conducted by BroadGroup Consulting.

The conference will feature the Data Centre Leadership Roundtable, Data Centre Investment and Outsourcing, Government and Public Sector Data Centres, Managed Services for Financial Service Organizations, Data Centre Security, Digital Media, Video Storage and CDN, Private Cloud and Impact on Data Centres, Reducing Data Centre Power Costs, Sustainability and Green in the Data Centre, Containerization of the Data Centre and an interactive data centre "surgery" hosted by global consultancy ARUP.

The event will also host the first Awards ceremony for the data centre sector in the region. "The calibre of entry has been high and very competitive so far," commented Philip Low, managing director of BroadGroup, the event researchers and organizers. "After closing the nominations on 10th May, the judges will make their decision based on the quality of entry and we feel there will be a compelling and exciting outcome for the companies and individuals involved."
