Toshiba extends 'The Perfection Promise' consumer offer

  • United Arab Emirates: Thursday, May 13 - 2010 at 16:37
  • PRESS RELEASE

Toshiba Computer Systems Division today announces the extension of its consumer offer 'The Perfection Promise' until 31st July 2010. 'The Perfection Promise' is a unique promo which provides benefits and services to customers who have experienced various issues like accidental laptop damages or unemployment during the first year of their laptop purchase.

Launched in mid-March in Egypt, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates 'The Perfection Promise' has drawn a high number of registrations and positive feedback from Toshiba customers and partners.

"We are witnessing a growing number of registrations each day. 'The Perfection Promise' feedback has been very positive based from the number of initial applications, and our channel partners have been extremely supportive of the consumer offer. This is mainly due to the value-added services it offers to our customers and to our key partners,"

said Santosh Varghese, Regional General Manager, Computer Systems Division, Toshiba Gulf.

'The Perfection Promise' also helps Toshiba and its channel partners address the grey market issue as the offer increases demand for approved for sale Toshiba products for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

"This is a good way for customers to identify the added value of selecting only the approved Toshiba laptops. This is one of the tools we are actively using to convert grey market dealers to sell approved Toshiba products for EMEA," Varghese pointed out.

The promo offers unique coverage as a complimentary benefit to all fully-paid Toshiba laptops purchased between March 15th and July 31st 2010. To participate, customers need to register within seven days after date of purchase.

The benefits of the promo include: accidental damage coverage; theft coverage; unemployment coverage and satisfaction coverage. 'The Perfection Promise' gives money back to the customers in case of unemployment within one year of purchase. It also provides customers with free of charge repair in case of any type of accidental damage to the laptop. In addition, it replaces stolen laptop in case of theft that has been reported to the police and refunds the laptop's amount if returned within 14 days of purchase.
