This year's Ghorfa German-Arab Business Forum, sponsored among others by Siemens, Dornier Consulting and Emirates Airlines, will be held from June 4- 6 at the House of German Business right in the center of Berlin.
In its sixth consecutive year, the forum has established itself as an important platform for the German-Arab business dialogue. Predictably, the end of the war in Iraq and the ongoing debate on the future role of the Europeans and the Germans in particular in the region will feature prominently at this big gathering.
Around 500 businessmen and politicians including many VIP's from both Germany and the Arab countries are expected to attend the event. This years Forum will focus on the subjects IT and telecommunication, health and medical technology, energy, environment and water, infrastructure projects, trade and services as well as financing and regulatory framework.
The business gathering is held under the patronage of Wolfgang Clement, federal minister of economics and labour, who is among the main speakers of the event.
