Dubai 2003 announces unique partnership with Masafi

The partnership agreement was signed between Mr. Ibrahim Belselah, General Coordinator of Dubai 2003 and Mr. Abdulrahman Seif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Masafi Mineral Water Company. Under the agreement, Masafi will provide a wide range of its top world-class quality products to guests, delegates and officials attending the Annual Meetings. The products include Masafi water in 1.5 litre and 500ml bottles and Masafi tissue plus Snapples and Fruto juice and Ghraoui chocolate.

Addressing a press conference, Mr. Abdulrahman Seif Al Ghurair, said: "Masafi is proud to be a part of this historic gathering of finance ministers and officials from around the world. Dubai 2003 is hosting the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund and is overseeing the introduction of the highly complex logistical framework required to ensure the success of such a global event. The Annual Meetings will be held in the Dubai International Convention Centre that can accommodate 4,500 delegates for the Annual Meetings, 6,000 delegates for usual convention events and up to 15,000 people standing for other events.

The Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund were first held in Washington DC in 1946. They are hosted by an international city one year in three. Dubai and the UAE were selected because of its highly developed transportation and logistics infrastructure, growing importance as a financial hub and its established position as an oasis of opportunity.
