Hertz's award winning 'Gold Service' will be also introduced, giving customers a special rental experience at a dedicated counter, pre-prepared agreements, prioritised parking bays and ready to rent vehicles.
"We are entering an exciting phase of growth with new branches planned across Abu Dhabi to match the city's rapid growth in population as well as tourism over the next few years. To be selected from 19 potential suppliers as one of only six car rental companies is a great achievement," said Nigel Johnson, General Manager - Hertz UAE.
"The new counter reinforces our commitment to make the rental experience as easy as possible. From 1200 vehicles purchased so far in 2010, customers can choose from a variety of sedans, SUVs and 4x4s," he added.
The latest branch opening at Abu Dhabi Airport means that Hertz UAE, part of the Al-Futtaim group of companies, now has 13 locations across the UAE, including branches in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
