Sabban Group of Companies, the umbrella organisation of developer Sabban Property Investments (SPI), has set up an Dhs7m headquarters in Dubai Investment Park (DIP), in a move that will centralise the Group's subsidiary companies in the hotels and hospitality, property investment and development industries.

The new office, which is located at the second floor of the Falcon House, is expected to further strengthen the services provided by the company to its customers, while allowing it to explore investment opportunities in the Middle East.

In addition, SPI, the developer of the QR1.2bn 'Sabban Towers' development, which is the first 100% carbon neutral project in the Middle East, also announced that it is shifting its offices to the Group's new headquarters. The real estate investment and development arm of the Sabban Group recently completed the flagship project at the Pearl Qatar, and is currently preparing for handover of apartments to the investor.

"Despite the economic crisis, we remain steadfast in our efforts to actively invest in the GCC, especially in key markets such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and our move to a new base in Jebel Ali is part of our growth strategy in the region and our commitment to provide better services to our clients," said John Browne, Managing Director, Sabban Property Investment. "Dubai Investment Park is a thriving business hub and is the perfect location for our new head office, given its facilities and infrastructure that has the potential to promote long-term growth. We are also gearing up to consolidating the operations of all our subsidiaries, especially with the other Sabban Group Companies joining us in our new offices."

Dubai Investment Park is part of the Jebel Ali Freezone Authority (JAFZA), the world's fastest growing freezone. By establishing its new offices in DIP, the Sabban Group's can leverage this ideal growth environment with optimally designed workspace infrastructure and technologically advanced ambience to enhance efficiency. The new offices have also followed environmentally friendly guidelines to reduce its carbon foot print, with some of the initiatives to be implemented including eco-friendly office furniture, high end audio visual technology for video conferencing to reduce the need to travel and reduction in waste sent to the landfill.
