About Italian Design Furniture Exhibition: Press release
The Italian Design Furniture Exhibition, an exclusive event under the patronage of the Italian Embassy in Kuwait, will be taking place at the Salwa Al-Sabah Theatre & Hall at Marina Waves in Salmiya, starting from Monday, May 31 to Thursday, June 3, 2010.
This important event was inaugurated jointly by H.E. Rashid Al-Tabtabaie, Undersecretary of Commerce and Industry for the State of Kuwait, and by H.E. Enrico Granara, the Italian Ambassador to Kuwait, on Monday at 10:30 am.
The art-direction of the exhibition was spearheaded by Mrs. Antonella Fanelli, Italian Interior Designer for ITALIAN ART & DESIGN STUDIO, who blended the art and design aspects of the industry with the promotional intents of the exhibits.
A press conference was held after the opening ceremony, highlighting the purpose of the event. The exhibition aims at showcasing a selection of the most exclusive products of the Italian design furniture industry.
More than 10 local companies offering the luxury brands of Italian furniture designers are participating in this exclusive event, such as:
Spaces & Concepts (Sagsa, Fratelli Martini, Bralco, Porada, Desiree', FDV, Leucos, ITRE, murano due, Gallery); Al-Ostoura (Poltrona Frau, Alias, Cassina, Driade, Zanotta, Venini); Dia Behbehani Furniture Co.
