  • PRESS RELEASE

Danat Dubai Cruises, the Gulf region's premier operator of luxurious cruising vessels, has confirmed an increased level of participation at this year's Arabian Travel Market, using the international show as an opportunity to highlight its latest vessel, the Gulf Adventurer.

Exhibiting at ATM for the second year, Danat Dubai Cruises comes under the DTCM umbrella with a booth from which it will be promoting its activities specifically aimed at the corporate and incentive markets.

According to Chris Anns, General Manager of Danat Dubai Cruises, the Arabian Travel Market is the single most important travel fair for the company and will be used as the platform to kick-start the promotional activities surrounding the new vessel.

"It is exciting times for us at the moment," said Chris Anns, whose company has invested over a million dollars expanding the fleet. "The Gulf Adventurer, an ocean rafter that seats 31 passengers, will greatly expand our cruising capabilities allowing our guests to travel to remote areas all along the UAE coastline and as far as the Musandam in Oman."

Cruising at speeds of 40 knots, the New Zealand-built boat, will complement the company's flagship catamaran, the MV Danat Dubai, and provide another alternative for thrill-seekers who want to experience and witness this beautiful part of the world from the sea.

The MV Danat Dubai is already a familiar sight for Dubai residents and is the only commercial cruise vessel that leaves from the Creek and sails right into the Arabian Gulf during its daily trips allowing guests to witness spectacular views of Dubai from the water.

As well as being a 'must' on every holiday-makers site-seeing map, the MV Danat Dubai, which can carry up to 300 passengers, is often used for corporate functions by companies from across the emirates.

"Chartering the vessel, the company can create an ideal venue for anything ranging from a luncheon through to launching a new product," explained Anns. "We've had everything from incentive groups on board through to press conferences and fashion shoots.

'With five-star catering, large projection screens and state-of-the-art equipment, the MV Danat Dubai offers an unusual venue for companies searching for an 'alternative venue.'
