Consumexpo Sharjah proves to be popular

Open from the 1st of May up to the 9th May 2003, the multi-products consumer exhibition has attracted over 10,000 visitors in the first three days.

The show has brought together over 90 exhibitors from India, Pakistan, Mozambique, Latvia, Singapore, Syria, and the UAE, who are displaying the novelties and varieties of their respective countries in a wide range of consumer and household product categories. The product categories include personal massagers, home textiles, garments, leather bags and footwear, interiors, furniture & miscellaneous household products, gifts, novelties & jewellery, perfumes & cosmetics, stationery, etc. The exhibition also features a separate home electronics and appliances section.

At the show, visitors have the chance to experience a free massage at the Ceragem World Co. LLC. Mr. Benjamin, representative of the company said that Ceragem World Co. L.L.C. have come up with a new massager, which is being featured at the show. It is called the Ceragem Master CGM -M3500, which can give a full and complete body massage, whenever one wants it. The massager combines rolling massage, acupressure with heat, jade and far-infrared rays for a deep, professional massage. Their booth also has a physiotherapist, specially flown in from Korea, who is ready-at-hand for any questions or explanations on the new product. They have received 15 serious enquiries for the new massager.

Another company, Hayati Trading also features a wide range of massagers, including a microcomputer massage cushion, multi-functional folding massage chair, eight head massage master and more. Through these products one can have a full body massage, or a face massage, foot massage, fat reducing massage, hand massage etc.

Among the other exhibitors, Leader Sports (Garments Tailoring), who deal in sports wear, stitching, designing etc have had a very good response so far. Mr. Fayez Masri, General Manager said that not only the response from the public has been very good, but they have also received 15 trade enquiries so far. Also, Mr. Krishna M. Gupta, representative of Plutus Exports Pvt. Ltd, dealing in 'kundan' and 'polky' silver and gold plated hand-made jewellery sets said that they have received a good response. Another exhibitor, Snow White has a wide range of men's shirts and trousers on display. They are giving away a free gift on registration at their booth and gift vouchers on purchase.

Visitors to the show also have the chance to win fabulous prizes on their visit. The show will remain open up to 9 May, everyday from 10 am to 1 pm (except Friday) and 5 pm to 10 pm. Admission is free for everyone.
