Kingdom of Saudi Arabia makes impressive debut at ATM

The majestic exhibition stand of the Supreme Commission for Tourism (SCT), at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai, has been officially opened by HRH Sheikh Abdulla bin Zayed, UAE Minister of Information in the presence of HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Secretary General SCT.
The SCT stand at the Dubai expo' is one of the Kingdom's most ambitious efforts to broaden the scope of its tourism and Prince Sultan says "much more is to come."
Sheikh Abdullah inaugurated ATM, the biggest in the event's 10-year history, as well as the SCT stand. Sheikh Abdullah spent some time at the SCT stand in discussions with Prince Sultan.
Prince Sultan, 46, who became famous throughout the Arab world when he became the first Arab crew member of a space shuttle when he travelled with the crew of Discovery in 1985. Prince Sultan said that their presence at ATM " will be remembered as a milestone" when the Kingdom's tourism industry is firmly established.
" We are very positive about developing tourism in Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Travel Market is a significant as it gives us the ability to market the Kingdom as a destination as a totally different cultural experience."
The SCT has chosen ATM to unveil a series of ground-breaking initiatives to attract more tourists to the Kingdom.
