  • PRESS RELEASE

Audi Middle East has signed cricketer Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff as their first celebrity brand ambassador for Audi in the Middle East, kicking off their new Audi Ambassador Program.

The 32 year-old English international cricketer plays for Lancashire County Cricket Club, England and Indian Premier League team, Chennai Super Kings. Together with his wife and three children he has lived in Dubai since September 2009. He and his family will now be driving two Dubai-plated Audi Q7s.

"Great car! I'll certainly enjoy driving myself and the family around the roads of Dubai in an Audi," says Flintoff.

Jeff Mannering, Managing Director of Audi Middle East, comments, "Freddie is a great ambassador for Audi: sporty, successful and a family man with strong values. We couldn't think of anyone better to represent our brand."

Flintoff is the first from the Middle East to join a league of high profile Audi ambassadors worldwide, including Justin Timberlake, who famously plays the leading role in the exceptional Audi A1 internet campaign.
