Networking opportunity of SMEs starts in Dubai at SME Expo and Conference 2010

SMEs (Small and Medium-size Enterprises), the backbone of the UAE economy, will defy the global financial crisis because of lower operating costs and sufficient liquidity on this hands, according to the organizer of the 2nd Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) Expo and Conference which will be held from 13 to 15 December, 2010, at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Satish Khanna, General Manager, Al Fajer Information & Services organizing the show, said:
"SMEs from all over the world, serves as the essential contributors towards sustainable development and economic diversification of their respective countries."


Khanna added, "Today, Dubai and GCC opens golden opportunities to the global business communities of the world. The business activities in the region are increasing at record pace by the day. Dubai is a dynamic international business centre and laid-back tourist gateway. It has long been acknowledged as the trading and re-export hub of the MENA region. The flexibility of opening up a business here made it a hot favorite amongst SMEs."

The 2nd SME Expo and Conference will serve as a platform to explore business opportunities, networking, interact, form alliances, enhance export and import, exchange expertise, consultation with industry experts, seek management and financial services and display innovative products, technology and services.

This SME Expo will be visited by some 10,000 members of the SME community of this region and the world. There will be over 150 SME related businesses showcasing their products, services and innovative ideas. SME Conference will be held alongside the SME Expo, targeted more than 200 delegates who will hear the top 20 speakers in this field. The theme is to offer a platform to create new alliances and to team-up for greater export opportunities throughout the Middle East and MENA.

"Finally, we are ready to tackle this frontier and we invite all businesses in all sectors from all over the world to come and explore opportunities this region has to offer to SMEs," says W. Gagan, the Event Manager of the SME Expo.

Companies at the expo will be from the areas of engineering and construction, metal, petrochemicals, ICT, franchising, tourism, investment opportunity, investment zones, free zones, garments & textile, arts & handicrafts, food trade, vehicle equipment and motor trade, banking & finance, legal & accounting, education, design and design-related, business consultancy and many others.

The organisers are inviting all SMEs in all sectors from around the world to come and exhibit at the Exhibition as well as to attend the Conference. Booking registration has been started and deadline is on 31st October 2010.
