Sakana appoints 'Sakana Busaiteen' project team

Bahrain-based Sakana Holistic Housing Solutions the innovative Islamic mortgage finance provider announced appointment of key project team - R. P. Construction as "Project Contractor" and Akbari Architects as "Project Consultant" for "Sakana Busaiteen" project, a heritage residence for the contemporary family being developed in Busaiteen.
Sheikh Mohamed Rashid Al Khalifa, Managing Director of R. P. Construction said, "We are delighted to be appointed as the Project Contractor after stringent evaluation by Sakana. We will be deploying a well experienced team to ensure successful completion of the project."
Mrs. Kholood Akbari, Executive Director of Akbari Architects commented, "We are glad to be associated with this project right from the beginning in terms of design, tender and now supervision. The project design takes into consideration family, tradition and Bahrain's unique heritage."
All the ten heritage residences are individually created to incorporate touches of traditional architecture in their luxurious contemporary design. Each building is comprised of individual self-contained 3 storey heritage residences to gather the family under one roof. The compound will offer a selection of facilities including parking, lift, swimming pool and garden area. The first phase of the project comprising of 5 heritage residences is expected to be completed in 1 year. The location offers an easy commute to Manama, as well as Muharraq's commercial centre.
