  • PRESS RELEASE

The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Synergy Special Edition sports car has arrived at Chevrolet dealerships across the Middle East. As the Camaro Synergy is a limited production sports car, only 30 units will be available for sale throughout the entire region.

"The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Synergy Special Edition, with its special Synergy Green paint, continues a long tradition of hot and cool colours that have made the Camaro a collectible icon. To this day, some of the most sought after Camaros are from the first generation - those from 1967 to 1969 - in Hugger Orange, Daytona Yellow, and Rally Green," said Luay Al Shurafa, Chevrolet Regional Brand Manager of Chevrolet in the Middle East.

The Synergy Green exterior color was first previewed at the 2009 Specialty Equipment Manufacturers (SEMA) show. The Synergy Green is accented by Cyber Grey Rally Stripes running the length of the Camaro hood and rear deck. Other exterior features include an RS/SS rear spoiler, and standard 19-inch, Sterling Silver painted wheels wrapped with P245/50R19 tires.

The color scheme is mirrored on the interior, with Synergy Green instrument panel and door inserts. Synergy Green stitching also accents the Jet Black cloth seats, steering wheel, shift knob, armrest and centre console.

Premium touches in the interior include an ice-blue LED pipe as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

The 2010 Camaro Synergy Special Edition is based on Camaro LT, with a 3.6L direct injection V-6, paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The powertrain has become a benchmark for the segment by offering a combination of performance and efficiency: The V-6 delivers 304 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque, and returns up to 8 L/100km on the highway.

The Special Edition comes equipped with Bluetooth phone connectivity, USB port for MP3 players and remote vehicle start for models equipped with an automatic transmission.
Reflecting the limited production of the sports car, each owner will receive a 2010 Camaro Synergy Special Edition certificate.

As the 2010 Camaro Synergy Special Edition is sure to be snapped up quickly in the Middle East, fans are advised to contact their local Chevrolet dealer to see how they can book their unique sports car.
