The Maybach 62 and 57 - the names are a reference to the length of the vehicles - redefine ultimate luxury for the region's discerning luxury limousine market customer just as they did in the 1920s and 1930s when the marque was the pinnacle of German and international automotive excellence.

"The Maybach epitomises peerless automotive exclusivity and elegance," said Saeed Al Fahim, Chairman of the Al Fahim Group. " Based on groundbreaking Mercedes-Benz innovations and technology the marque sets the benchmark for the region's prestige car segment."

Every Maybach will be different with owners being able to choose over two million ways to equip their cars to their own personal taste thanks to an extensive range of standard and optional equipment.

The cars are powered by the world's most powerful engine in this class - the Type 12, which produces 550 hp and 900 newton metres of torque enabling the vehicles to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.

"In the UAE we expect to sell about 30% of the total of 160 Maybach 57 and Maybach 62 vehicles targetted for the Middle East this year making us the second largest market in the region behind Saudi Arabia," added Saeed Al Fahim.
