Cunard's newest cruise ship Queen Elizabeth to visit Dubai on her maiden World Voyage in March 2011

Continuing the company's legacy of the annual World Voyage pioneered 90 years ago, Cunard Line is offering 2011 World Voyage programs aboard two of its most famous ocean liners: the newest ship Queen Elizabeth and its flagship Queen Mary 2 which will sail to 60 ports across 33 countries.

Queen Elizabeth will visit Dubai for an overnight halt on March 31, 2011, while Queen Mary 2 will dock on April 3, 2011, offering region's cruise lovers a chance to join the world cruise program.

The leader in world cruising, Cunard is offering itineraries calling on legendary ports, featuring overnights in Sydney, Hong Kong and Dubai on new Queen Elizabeth. The rich travel legacy - combined with the Line's hallmarks of elegant fine dining, impeccable White Star Service and a wide variety of premier stateroom accommodations, including the award-winning Queens Grill and Princess Grill suites - provide an unforgettable experience.

Queen Elizabeth World Voyage


For her maiden World Voyage, Queen Elizabeth offers a 103-day epic journey from Southampton. Segment Voyages offer the Queen Elizabeth experience and capture the essence of a World Voyage, ranging from 12 to 24 days, including Singapore to Dubai (12 days) and Dubai to Southampton (22 days).

Guests from the Middle East have the ease to disembark or embark on their World Voyage experience in Dubai. Queen Elizabeth sails from Singapore to Malaysia, Thailand, India and Oman before arriving for an overnight stay in Dubai. The final leg of her epic voyage includes the transit of Suez Canal, as well as calls in Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Greece, Italy and Portugal before returning home of Southampton.

Queen Mary 2 World Voyage


Beginning her fifth World Voyage in Southampton, segment voyages of Queen Mary 2 include Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand and India, en route to Dubai. From here, Queen Mary 2 will call in Egypt and transit the Suez Canal before returning home to Southampton via Greece and Portugal.
