  • United Arab Emirates: Saturday, July 24 - 2010 at 12:33
  • PRESS RELEASE

While hardened sales shoppers bagged a bargain on everything from beauty to clothes, electronics and household products, the leisure strollers and discerning families settled for the incredibly varied dining experience which has become a hallmark of the globally-renowned Al-Futtaim property. Footfall increased manifold and according to the Festival Centre management some 3 million visitors have passed through the Centre since DSS 2010 began on June 11.

This visitor number of course was greatly influenced by the popular Football Fever match dome during the football World Cup but the Let's Celebrate campaign is also drawing its own stream of visitors who stand a glorious chance to win daily, weekly and grand prizes for every spend across Festival Centre.

"We are extremely pleased with this overall performance as it shows robustness awakening in the retail sector," said Tom Miles, Director-Shopping Centres, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate. "We've combined some fine brands under the Al-Futtaim umbrella into one significant promotion to give our guests unique choices and chances to win a variety of prizes, deals and promotions across electronics, fashion and the automotives segments. And our guests have reacted very positively to these offers," he added.

Dubai Festival City automotive showrooms are also offering weekly prizes, including exotic holidays, gift vouchers and grand prizes which include Toyota FJ cruiser, Dodge Ram and Honda cars.

The ever-popular food court and dining options continues to pamper Festival Centre guests with promotions and offers, while dishing out amazing gastronomical delights.
