The new e-voucher service, already available at select retailers, will also enable Du to expand their distribution network in the UAE.
"We are extremely pleased to be associated with Du, who are at the forefront of telecommunications technology in the region and a key operator with a large and growing market share in the UAE. NI has the tools and technology to give Du's customers and distributors more convenience, flexibility and reach. This strategic partnership will be of great benefit to both companies, as well as the general public,"
said Mr. Abdulla Qassem, Chairman Network International.
With the launch of this service, merchants and retailers will benefit from a fully automated solution requiring no additional investment from merchants already using Network Credit Card terminals. Merchants will not have to maintain a physical inventory of Du recharge cards, as the e-voucher service can be accessed through existing Network International POS terminals.
"We at Network International believe in bringing value-added services to the merchants, which ultimately benefits end consumers. The e-voucher is one of the many initiatives we have introduced to continuously enhance our service offerings and achieve operational excellence with our commercial partners," said Mr. Ram Chari, CEO, Network International.
Du has a huge customer base that is spread across the UAE. The introduction of the e-voucher is expected to significantly enhance Du's reach even in remote areas, as well as guarantee the subscribers' ability to recharge their prepaid lines and enjoy the freedom of using the Du service anywhere and anytime.
"The launch of e-voucher demonstrates Du's commitment to offer convenience to customers and continually facilitate and optimize their mobility experience. We understand that people lead busy lives, so we want to make the recharging experience as quick and easy as possible. With the launch of e-voucher, we will substantially increase our recharge network, therefore becoming even more accessible to our customers," commented Farid Faraidooni, chief commercial officer, Du.
Coordinated electronically between Network International and Du, the e-voucher will facilitate a much faster supply and handling of prepaid recharge credit without the need for traditional, physical cards.
