The importance of emotional intelligence (EQ) started increasing significantly when continuous research in the business world has proven that the intellectual quotient (IQ) isn't the main predictor of employees' success and brilliance in performance as was the general prevailing idea. Research results confirmed that there is another kind of intelligence represented by a special set of skills and competencies which make a "star" out of an employee. This set of skills is mainly based on using one's emotions effectively.
Moreover, research has proven that using emotions effectively will have a positive impact on motivation which in turn influences productivity and performance; and this is the heart of emotional intelligence (EQ).
On this occasion, Six Seconds COO, Mr. Joshua Freedman, stated:
"We are delighted to launch our operations in Jordan. The timing is perfect with the momentum and growth Human Capital Development is witnessing in Jordan and the Middle East area. The emotional intelligence (EQ) training and consulting will fuel this development and accelerate human effectiveness in organizations and institutions both in the private and public sectors throughout the region."
From his part, Mr. Nadeem Nahhas, Managing Director of Six Seconds Jordan, said: "We feel elated and proud to have been chosen to represent the Six Seconds network in Jordan.
