- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, July 27 - 2010 at 10:02
Nissan Middle East has recalled more than a thousand Nissan Patrols in the UAE for electronic problems that could affect the fuel supply and stall the engine, The National has reported. Cars affected are the 2010 model with Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) A9000112 to A90004207. An integrated circuit inside the electronic control module (ECM) could potentially break, which could cause the fuel injectors to stop working. "We have asked customers to come in to the dealership and we will replace the ECM circuit with one that has been counter measured so that would solve the problem instantly," Monal Zeidan, the general manager of marketing and communications for Nissan Middle East said.
