Jaguar launches recall in Middle East
- Middle East: Thursday, July 29 - 2010 at 10:18
Jaguar is recalling more than 200 XF and XK models in the GCC region because of a problem with the fuel pump, according to Automiddleeast.com. The in-tank electric fuel pump may, under certain conditions, not activate properly, resulting in the engine cutting out unexpectedly. The solution involves the installation of new software, the car maker said. The 203 cars affected in the GCC are the 2010 model year 5.0-litre XF (VIN numbers R36913 to R59480) and the 2010/11 model XK (VIN numbers B28268 to B39482).
