Aldar posts net loss for H1 2010

Abu Dhabi-based property developer, Aldar Properties has reported a net loss of Dhs789.5m for the first six months of 2010, compared to a net profit of Dhs1.14bn for the same period last year on lower property sales. Revenue for the period dropped to Dhs427m compared to Dhs1.068bn for the corresponding period last year. The developer expects more positive results during second half of this financial year due to the revenue generated from the delivery of its projects at Al Raha Beach and Al Gurm.
