The Nawras team plans to make its way to ministry offices, banks and popular souqs across the country and in particular to get closer to customers in the interior regions.
The schedule includes: Quriyat, Suwaiq, Bidaya, Sohar, Ibri, Nizwa, Bahla, Sur, Ibra and Izki.
"By striving to reach out to customers across the Sultanate, we want to show how our innovative services can make a difference to people's daily lives. Customers do—and should—expect a lot from their telecom providers. As Nawras continues to bring pleasingly different services to its customers, we look forward to changing the fixed telecom landscape in Oman just as we did in the mobile market,"commented Pradeep Kumar, trade marketing manager at Nawras.
From surfing the web to making and receiving international phone calls, Nawras Broadband & Voice packages are supported by the first WiMAX technology network in Oman, increasing by five-fold the number of Omani households with access to broadband services. One of the unique benefits is the plug and play simplicity of the Nawras packages, allowing customers to set up broadband access in their own home within minutes.
Customers can simply walk into any Nawras Store or selected Nawras premium dealer to register for the service and buy a modem. After connecting it to a laptop or desktop computer and, entering their username and password, they can immediately start surfing the internet.
To celebrate the launch of the new services, Nawras is offering customers incredible discounts including double data allowances, half-priced modems and more. Hundreds of eager customers have already begun experiencing the user-friendly technology which also includes services like the first residential use of voice over internet protocol (VoIP) in Oman.
Nawras is now the Sultanate's pleasingly different full service provider—offering customers a one-stop shop meeting all their telecom needs whether in the office or at home, mobile or fixed, broadband or voice.
