The new website showcases Sakhr's superior highly successful solutions, the company's diversified business activities and the depth of the alliances forged with various international companies. It will also play an important role as a resource addressing all inquiries related to Sakhr's products and solutions. Additionally, it aims to provide Sakhr's partners and decision makers in various business sectors with as much information as possible concerning the IT Business.
"Even though our previous website was extremely successful, we are convinced that we should offer even more. As the leading Arabic Information Management Solutions provider in the region, we feel it is essential for Sakhr to partake in providing important information in this field," stated Fahad Al-Sharekh, Business Development Director, Al Alamiah Group/ Sakhr Software. "What distinguishes our new website is the variety and the wealth of information it provides. We believe it is the website to seek when searching for anything related to implementing top-notch Arabic information management solutions within Arab organizations," he added.
Changes in Sakhr's website are radical and important. The site's graphic design, structure and layout are totally new, while Sakhr's products have been rearranged so that they are presented by product line (Arabic, publishing, knowledge, speech, etc..), thus reflecting Sakhr's criteria for offering technologies and solutions to major organizations.
"We at Sakhr are committed to providing top-notch bilingual information management solutions which keep up with modern day challenges. Customers can therefore follow up their inquires and suggestions through the website at any time.
The website's content has also been up-dated and new content has been added, this includes product specifications, case studies, success stories and much more. Additionally the search services are now powered by the regionally renown 'Idrisi' search engine.
"This is only the beginning," Al-Sharekh pointed out, "There will be many more changes, which are presently under development and discussion. For example Sakhr is considering offering its "Learn Arabic" service at the website."
Users many also use the website to subscribe to Sakhr's bilingual newsletter which presents Sakhr's news as well as the latest IT news as provided by Johaina, an exceptional news gathering product developed by Sakhr.
Since it's conception in 1996, Sakhr's website has undergone much development, most of which has taken place over the past six months. This continued renovation has made www.sakhr.com the most successful website among Arabic IT company websites, with regular visitors accounting for 20% of its total visitors. Because Sakhr's website is bilingual, it has also received many non-Arab visitors who are seeking Arabic Information Management solutions.
