- PRESS RELEASE
The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC)-organised Middle East International Motor Show, the largest and most comprehensive international automotive show in the region, is attracting increasing interest from the booming automotive aftermarket sector.
"Dubai is the acknowledged centre for the automotive sector in a region which is world famous for its high ratio of automobile ownership and use," said DWTC Assistant General Manager (Acting) Abdulla T. Qassem. "The Motor Show provides a platform for leading international manufacturers, designers and suppliers in the industry to showcase the latest wares, trends and developments in what is a major market," he added.
"Apart from its premier position in the automotive market, Dubai is also the region's leading hub for the auto parts trade and re-export, having access to over 1.5 billion consumers across three continents. The tremendous growth in the number of vehicles on road has resulted in a sustained demand for garage and forecourt equipment for the service industry, a significant segment of the automotive trade," said Mr Qassem.
"With the Motor Show featuring the Motor Parts and Accessories 2003 as a dedicated section for the automotive aftermarket sector, participating companies will be able to reach a quality audience of end users and traders from the Middle East, N. Africa, Iran and the Asian subcontinent," added Mr. Qassem.
Motor Parts & Accessories 2003, which will occupy one of seven interconnected halls of the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, will display the latest aftermarket trends from all over the world. It will feature automotive parts, accessories & components, air-conditioning systems, audio and video equipment, automotive sports gear, batteries, car tuning and performance engines, cab styling, car care products & services, car interior & finishing products, electro-mechanical parts & systems, engines, hydraulic systems, maintenance equipment, paints & coatings, petroleum products & lubricants, pneumatic systems, power tools, safety wear, tyres, engines & transmission systems, wheels, wheel alignment and balancing equipment among others.
