Rolling Stone to launch regional title in Gulf

HGW Media, under licence from the US-based publisher Wenner Media, is set to launch in November the Middle East edition of Rolling Stone magazine offering coverage of Arab music, hip hop and rock 'n' roll, The National has reported. Rolling Stone Middle East, which will be produced in Dubai, aims to provide a voice for the region's "thriving" music scene, as well as coverage of regional politics. The magazine will initially be sold in the UAE, with plans to expand its distribution throughout the GCC and Middle East.
