Abu Dhabi bourse adds half a percent

Positive inputs from oversee markets along with stabilising oil prices lifted the ADX General Index by 0.51% to 2,507.26 points. Shares of Dana Gas (up 1.30% at Dhs0.78) were most liquid in relation to trading volumes as the firm said it has made another gas discovery in Egypt, the firm's fourth gas find in the country. In addition, the Sharjah-based gas firm announced the commencement of new production in August from the Sharabas & Faraskur fields via its El Wastani gas plant in Egypt. National Bank of Umm al-Qaiwain (NBQ) posted the largest advance, finishing 4.35% higher at Dhs2.40.
