- PRESS RELEASE
Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) signed a new strategic deal with Carrefour in Saudi Arabia to bolster its renowned Neqaty loyalty program. The deal was signed by Mobily's Chief Marketing Officer, David Murphy and Carrefour's CEO for Saudi Arabia & Bahrain, Alain Goanvec with Mobily's CEO Eng. Khalid Al Kaf and COO Mr. Abdulaziz Altammami attending the ceremony.
"We are happy with this agreement for two reasons," said Murphy. "Carrefour is a world-class retailer and a household name in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and it's great to have such a strategic partner on board.
"The other reason is that we've opened up the Kingdom's largest stores for our Neqaty customers, transforming the whole shopping experience and adding vast new choices."
Mr. Goanvec Of Carrefour said his company is proud to be a partner of Mobily. "We would love to invite Mobily's customers to shop at the Middle East's greatest retailer and enjoy the best products at the best prices," he said. "We are committed to providing vast choices to Mobily's customers."
Mobily had put in place major technological solutions that would make it as easy as possible for customers to redeem their points, such as its Customer Care center, its automated response system and its Mobily Menu (accessed simply by dialing *1100#). They can also use M-Pay machines at the outlets of partners, which help them redeem points without the need for coupons, slips or number cards. It is worth mentioning here that Mobily's M-Pay system at Carrefour was developed specifically to cater for the needs of this giant retailer and is powered by Mobily's technology partner Margento.
