Injaz to showcase its real estate projects at Cityscape Global 2010

Saudi Arabia will invest around $320bn over the next 10 years to meet an estimated annual demand of 200,000 housing units alone. Domestic property investments are currently estimated at around $300bn and have the potential to hit $400bn by the end of the year, according to a report by Global Investment House, as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia maintains its overall lead in the regional real estate business.

Riyadh-based master developer and property investment firm Injaz Development Company is gearing up to showcase its projects as the Kingdom's sole exhibitor during the 9th edition of Cityscape Global, taking place from October 4 to 7, 2010 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

Al Marina and Al Gamra, two major real estate projects in Saudi Arabia overseen by Injaz, reflect the huge growth potential of the country's property sector. Al Marina is an upcoming 3.3 million sqm mixed-use seafront development located east of Dammam City, while Al Gamra offers nearly 2.5 million square metres of master-developed, ready-to-build housing plots that are designed to be a natural extension of Riyadh's northern suburb. Both projects will be showcased during Cityscape Global in Dubai.

"Our two key projects are strategically positioned to accelerate the growth of the Saudi property sector, especially in areas such as Riyadh which are rapidly transforming into highly modern urban environments. The UAE in general and Dubai in particular share a similar focus on real estate and are thus perfect partners for mutually exploring opportunities. We look forward to forging new investment and development partnerships and strengthening existing ones as the exclusive representative of our country's real estate trade during Cityscape Dubai 2010,"

said Omar Al Kadi, President and Managing Director, Injaz Development Company.

Formally called Cityscape Dubai, Cityscape Global retains its reputation as the world's premier real estate investment and development event. This year's edition will welcome over 200 exhibiting companies and 38,000 participants from 115 countries. Among the activities included in the four-day agenda are Investor Round Tables, the CEO Networking Lunch, the Cityscape Global Golf Classic, the Cityscape Awards for Architecture, and the Cityscape Global Business Matching Services.

Injaz Development Company has been providing total solutions for the local and regional property sectors since 2006. The company's services cover real estate investments, internal and third-party project development, and sales support such as bank financing.
