DHL regional staff participate in Quality Management course

DHL Express, the global leader in international express and logistics services headquartered in Brussels, reaffirmed its commitment in providing clients with the highest quality service, by recently conducting a Quality Management ISO 9000 Internal Auditors course for their key regional staff at the Sheraton Hotel, Bahrain.
Basem Obaid, the Senior Quality Assurance Representative for UAE, conducts the dedicated Quality Management course for DHL regional staff on an annual basis as part of DHL's on going strategy of ensuring the integrity and efficiency of its Quality Management ISO System which covers all 11 countries in the Middle Eastern region, including the GCC states, Yemen, Iran and Syria.
"This is the fourth training course held by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance exclusively for us in the Middle East since 1995, when DHL first became certified with the ISO 9000. We have previously participated in identical courses run by Lloyds throughout the years which have benefited our strategy of constantly striving to provide and maintain a superior quality of service for our clients" explained Ali Sarrafzadeh, DHL Area Commercial Director. " We are confident that the course's high quality content will put us a step further towards achieving our aim" continued Sarrafzadeh.
Following the Internal Auditors Training course, all trained DHL auditors return to their respective countries and apply their learning to their DHL operations by managing, maintaining and auditing their ISO Quality Management System with the most up-to-date and efficient techniques.

In order to maintaining these high standards, we are committed to frequently enrolling our DHL staff in training activities that focus on quality of service so as to keep them up-to-date with all the latest developments and techniques in this field which will benefit both the Kuwaiti clientele as well as our customers in the whole region."
