- PRESS RELEASE
Cristal Hotels and Resorts, a dynamic hotel group in Abu Dhabi, has announced that it will commence operations of Cristal Salam Hotel, its second hospitality destination in the UAE, by early 2011. Cristal Hotels and Resorts earlier signed an agreement with property owner Emerald Middle East Real Estate LLC to launch and manage the hotel, which is located in Abu Dhabi.
Peter Blackburn, CEO, Cristal Hotels and Resorts, said, "Abu Dhabi's emergence as a major business destination in the region has subsequently increased the demand for high-quality hospitality services in the emirate. The opening of Cristal Salam Hotel early next year should help ease the supply gap for value hotel accommodations and provide an exciting new destination for the emirate's increasing number of visitors and business travellers. The hotel's strategic location in one of Abu Dhabi's most prominent commercial districts, providing easy access to key business destinations, will be an added attraction for business travellers."
"Cristal Hotels and Resorts' brand of hospitality has been on par with the best in the world, as manifested by the remarkable success of Cristal Hotel Abu Dhabi, which is our first venture in the UAE. Our experience with this hotel has enabled us to develop a winning formula that we believe will also help establish Cristal Salam Hotel as an invaluable addition to Abu Dhabi's hospitality sector and a favourite destination of business and leisure tourists of the emirate. Cristal Hotels and Resorts believes that there is still so much room for growth in the UAE's hospitality sector as we continue to pursue our growth plan to operate a total of 25 hotels within five to 10 years," concluded Blackburn.
