USD300m Saudi, Mitsui plant

Saudi Arabia has established a joint venture with Mitsui to build a USD300m methanol plant, reported Gulf News. Mitsui will own 35 per cent of the plant which will produce one million tonnes of methanol a year. Officials said tie-ups with Japanese companies may increase as a back door to the Iraqi market.
