As a member of the 264-room "destination resort's" conversion team, Cora has been responsible for establishing the entire sales and marketing function and directing all aspects of catering and conference services as The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company assumed the management of Bahrain's only luxury hotel. Having flagged the resort on 1st January 2003, Cora has been inundated with inquiries and firm bookings from tour operators, meeting and incentive bookers and individual travelers who are intrigued about the destination and the latest Ritz-Carlton acquisition. She also has a unique opportunity to work closely with Bahrain's tourism and hospitality officials as they expand the leisure business in the country.

Bringing more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry to this position, Cora was most recently the Area Director of Sales at the The Ritz-Carlton Hotels of Boston and was on the pre-opening team of The Ritz-Carlton Millenia in her homeland, Singapore which has offered her a wealth of international experience in the hospitality business.

A graduate of The Singapore Hotel Training and Education Centre, Cora is committed to animating all of the unique aspects of genuine care and comfort that the world famous hotel company is known for. "Our core values are not only what makes us successful, but they are also taught, embraced and energized by the ladies and gentlemen who work for us" enthuses Stuart. Her objective is to position the hotel as one of the top resorts in the world. "The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa has a solid foundation, upon which we can build." she said. "Our goal now is to take our world-renowned service to the next level, continually surpassing our customers' expectations on every visit to the hotel."

It is hard to believe that time ever permits for Cora to count a good workout, outdoor sports, reading and spending time with family and friends among her preferred pass times, though not necessarily in that order!
