Under a comprehensive renovation plan, all Mashreqbank branches, locally and overseas, will be upgraded to the showroom concept specifications, which twice won Mashreqbank the Best Store Design Award in prestigious international competitions held in the USA.

Located on Salahuddin Street, Deira, the branch was established in 1990 and has evolved into one of the busier branches of the Mashreqbank network and needed to be made fully contemporary.

In addition to aesthetic and design improvements the renovation has included a complete update of the branch's IT and telecommunications equipment and merchandising. All branches following the showroom concept also include an anteroom accessible outside normal banking hours for ATM and phone banking.

"The new design has been warmly welcomed by both our customers and staff," said Steven Pinto, senior vice president and head of Retail Banking Group, Mashreqbank. "Customers are at the center of everything we do and their feedback indicates they appreciation the modern, transparent look, easy accessibility and enhanced comfort."

Pinto added that Mashreqbank is the only bank to have branches in all seven emirates and is expanding in the GCC, establishing three centrally located branches in Qatar with more to follow in the near future.
