Summer promotion nets sales increase for Jacky's

Launched on April 16, the 107-day summer promotion offers discounts on selected lines and a cache of prizes for winners.

"This is the longest-ever promotion to be conducted by Jacky's and we are very encouraged by the response. It shows consumer confidence and a tremendous amount of trust by shoppers that goods available at Jacky's will be of the best quality and will be competitively priced. We decided to expand the duration of the promotion to allow more people the opportunity to shop at these discounted prices," said Soni Tolani, Executive Director, Jacky's Electronics LLC.

Also labelled the 'Cruise Control' promotion because of the holiday package shoppers can win in the raffle draw, it offers 'lowest-in-town' prices on select brands of appliances. Corporate buyers can also avail of the reduced rates being offered on air conditioners and home appliances.

The promotion is held in partnership with six leading brands - LG, Samsung, Carrier, National, Sanyo and Venus.

"The last month-and-a-half has been an extremely busy period for Jacky; this increase in retail traffic has been experienced in all our stores - in Dubai and in Sharjah. Each brand on offer has been carefully selected to cater for all market segments and we are very pleased with the response this has evoked. At present the sales increase stands at 25 per cent, but we are optimistic that this will rise higher by the end of the promotion," said Shivam Goyal, Jacky's Retail Manager.

All home appliances bought at Jacky's carry a one-year local warranty and air conditioners have a five-year warranty on the compressor. As a further service to buyers, Jacky's is offering free delivery and installation of window air conditioners within Dubai and Sharjah. Shoppers on a budget, yet keen to avail of the reduced promotion prices, will be able to do so through Jacky's various tie-up with select banks. The promotion offers Mashreq Bank credit card holders a chance to triple their points by shopping at Jacky's and also pay in instalments. Moreover, holders of Citibank and ABN AMRO Bank cardholders can make purchases at Jacky's and pay in easy instalments.
