More than 2.5 million Jordanians on Facebook

According to social media analytics firm Socialbakers, the number of Facebook users in Jordan has reached 2,558,140 by the end of 2012, Jordan Times has reported. Facebook penetration in the kingdom is 39.93% compared with the country's population and 108.8% in relation to the number of internet users. The kingdom ranked 56th globally and seventh among Arab states by the end of 2012 in terms of the number of Facebook users, the company said.
