25% of UAE web surfers use tablet PCs: study

According to a study by the Dubai School of Government, 25% of internet users in the UAE use their tablet PCs to surf the web, the highest in the Arab world, Arab News has reported. Saudi Arabia came second with 15%, or a total of 1.5 million people who use tablet computers to surf the internet. From the sample of 3,500 people from 22 Arab countries, the report found 39% use the internet at home, 29% at work, 14% on their mobiles and 10% through other means. There are currently 125 million internet users in the Arab world.
