Mixing Business with Technology for over 11 years entirely focused on the web and internet industry, witnessing the rise of the internet in the region in the early 90's, Mr. Kamel decided this was his career.
He joined LINKdotNET in 1999 and acclaimed multiple roles since then, ranging from Technical Manager of MSN Arabia In 2001 and MSN Maghreb, managing all technical operations of preparation, development and launch of the giant portal, Service Operations Manager of all LINK's Products, to Consulting for Connect Ads (the MENA region largest Digital Agency) since its inception.
After the major acquisition of the largest Egyptian portals by LINKdotNET, Mr. Kamel held the position of General Manager of Technologies, in which he was in charge of all technical teams related to the product's projects, with a special attention to R&D projects.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Kamel, in his position as General Manager of Technologies, has turned Mazika.com from a small product to a service product extended to 9 mobile operators in the region powered by Mazika platform, and based on this achievement, Mr. Kamel was given the responsibility of launching and managing Middle East and North Africa's first and only legal online Arabic movies and television series' distribution service, Shofha.com.
Recently he held the position of Masrawy.com's General Manager, where he had an active role in shaping LINKonLINE's technology roadmaps. Through his leadership as the General Manager, the site has become more famous, with better content quality, and has been recognized by the internet users as one of the most credible source of information in Egypt.
