Sage holds 2003 KSA user conference

Sage, a leading mid-market supplier of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software recently held its Saudi user conference in Dammam. Over 50 delegates attended the conference.
Customers were also briefed about new features scheduled for release over the next two years. These included - a more advanced manufacturing solution with engineering change, production backflush and contract estimation, a HR solution, Workflow and Multiple Server Architecture that would allow the ERP application to run simultaneously on multiple servers anywhere in the world.
Others interesting aspects of the user conference were presentations made by users sharing their implementation experiences. Al Rajhi group presented the outstanding work they had done to improve remote users manageability and access. Using terminal services remote users can run Sage ERP arabic clients at acceptable speeds.
Users also discussed ways to improve communication among themselves using the Sage user group web site. The web site was recently developed by Sage to help Middle East users share product knowledge and experiences and build a knowledge base.
