Both the top-of-the-range 330Ci Coupe and Convertible offer power and performance of the highest standard; maximum output of this straight-six power unit produces 231 bhp. Featuring a six-speed manual gearbox, the 330Ci Coupe is now available for the first time with a six-speed SMG (Sequential Manual Gearbox) transmission, while this feature is available as an option on the 330Ci Convertible.

The SMG enables the driver to shift gears in a split second by means of two paddles on the steering wheel. With its absolutely precise and consistent gearshift, SMG, a concept derived from formula 1 racing, makes the process of shifting gears a real pleasure for the sporty driver.

The Coupe's dynamics, agility and sporty character rests on the chassis and suspension of the 3 Series' suspension, now modified and improved for even better handling. The Coupe is aesthetic and elegant on the one hand, fast and dynamic on the other.

From the front, the Coupe has greater presence, in turn, conveying a feeling of greater power, and from behind, it's even more distinctive. The car's silhouette gives the Coupe a sleek and dynamic appearance.

"The new BMW 3 Series Coupe and Convertible models set the benchmark in their class; with new technologies, powerful performance, dynamic design, the new models deliver outstanding driving pleasure," said Robert Bailey-McEwan, Managing Director of BMW Group Middle East.

Introducing intelligent adaptive headlights, for the first time on any of its cars on the 3 Series Coupe and Convertible, BMW is revolutionizing the world of headlights technology; the new 3 Series coupe and convertible are the first BMW models to benefit from this innovation.

The adaptive eheadlights give better illumination of the curved road ahead by turning in the direction of the curve. This illumination of the road ahead is based on a system of sensors and computers transmitting real-time data on the current steering angle, the road's curved angle and speed. The adaptive headlights use the data to calculate the course of the road and accordingly direct the two swivelling bi-xenon headlights, offering the driver a safer driving experience.

The telecommunication system onboard the BMW 3 Series reflects absolute state-of-the-art technology. A voice input system for the telephone and the navigation system has become an integral part of the mobile phone kit. In addition, the Bluetooth interface offers an innovative solution for integrating the mobile phone to the car's on-board electronic system without any cables.
