Peugeot supports French Week in Bahrain as Diamond Sponsors

As Bahrain makes a move to showcase its cosmopolitan outlook by creating a French Week highlighting French products in Bahrain, Mohammed Jalal and Sons (MJS), the dealers for Peugeot, one of the world most recognisable French products, has agreed to become Diamond Sponsor of the event scheduled to begin on 26th June 2003.
In fulfilling its leading role as Diamond Sponsors, (MJS) has arranged to have a number of cars on display at the Ritz Carlton Hotel & Spa for the opening ceremony of French Week scheduled to take place on 25th June 2003. In addition, as part of the promotion, other leading Peugeot models will be displayed at Seef Mall and Bahrain Mall, in Seef area during the week and also at Bahrain International Airport.
John Murray, General Manager of MJS commented, "Bahrain is, of course, one of the Gulf's most cosmopolitan country's and it is important that it highlights all the products that are available here from other countries in order to portray this image to potential investors and visitors. Peugeot is one of Bahrain's most popular cars and we are therefore pleased to ensure further awareness of this product in Bahrain."
The automotive division of Mohammed Jalal and Sons was established in 1964 and holds the franchise for Jaguar, Peugeot, Suzuki and Subaru. The company has a full service department and body shop for all brands of vehicles and a comprehensive spare parts division located in Al Khamis.
