MTC & Fastlink sponsor, participate in WEF

High-level delegations from the Kuwaiti Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC) and Fastlink participated in the extraordinary annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), which was held at the Dead Sea during June 21-23. Both companies sponsored the event.

Representing MTC at the conference were Mr. Ahmed Al Nassar, chairman of the board, Mr. Asa'd Al Banwan, vice-chairman of the board, Dr, Sa'ad Al Barrak, general manager, Mr. Haitham Al Khaled, deputy general manager, and Mr. Basem Al Oteibi, investments management director.

Representing Fastlink were Eng. Mohammed Saqer, CEO, and Mr. Sa'ad Abu-Odeh,
chief officer, strategy and operations.

Dr. Sa'ad Al Barrak, general manager of MTC, said: "We are honored to support and sponsor this global event that sheds light on Jordan's stable political climate and excellent investment environment. We support every effort that serves the interest of this country in its drive towards openness and development, in harmony with His Majesty's vision. The meetings we attended during the conference were highly informative as we listened to the world's political and economic leaders, and discussed with a number of distinguished participants our successful investment experiment in Jordan."
